Warranty Policy

Thanks for your K2 Skates purchase! K2 Skate warranties are reserved for the original purchaser only. Make sure to keep a copy of your original purchase receipt or invoice (Proof of Purchase), in the unlikely event that you need warranty service. If the original Proof of Purchase cannot be provided on a warranty return, K2 will use the manufacturing date as the start of the warranty period. Items will be repaired or replaced if, upon inspection at an authorized K2 Service Center and sent to and agreed upon by a K2 Warranty Service Technician, they are found to be defective in materials or workmanship.

K2 Limited Warranty For Inline Skates

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

WHAT IS COVERED

  • Structural cracks or breaks of the cuff, cuff rivets, buckles, frame, brake mount, or wheel hubs due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Stitching, zippers, lace locks, lace loops, pull loops & Velcro tabs that are not a result of normal wear and tear and are due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Delaminating of boot sole due to a manufacturing defect.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Any problem resulting from impact, misuse, abuse, or neglect. This includes but is not limited to rail, curb, & road hazard damage.
  • Damage from heat molding boots.
  • Cosmetic issues including but not limited to, sun-faded graphics, and oxidation or rust.
  • Skate damage resulting from failure to maintain tightness of hardware, including but not limited to axle shafts and/or screws, brake hardware, & frame to boot hardware.
  • Any damage resulting from failure to use correct hardware, i.e. removal of brake without use of standard length replacement axle.
  • Damage caused by any modifications made outside of the K2 facility.
  • Boot damage or material abrasions from falling, curbing, or sliding rails i.e. scruffs, tears, & holes.
  • Normal wear and tear, i.e., boot laces, wheels, bearings, material wear, fading, discoloration, etc.
  • Size and Fit issues.
  • Stripped axles or frame spacers.

K2 Limited Warranty For Ice Skates

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

Returning Product For Warranty

If your order was fulfilled directly from K2 Skates please contact K2 Skates Customer Service via our online form. A K2 Service Rep will happily provide you with an RMA # for you to submit your product for warranty inspection.

If you send in your warranty return without contacting K2 Customer Service, we will be unable to process your warranty return request. Exact product replacement depends on inventory availability.

*Consumer is responsible for shipping charges to mail back warranty returns.

Product Purchased From A Retailer

Product purchased from a retailer must be returned to the point of purchase. The retailer will then process the warranty with K2 Skates on your behalf.

If you cannot return to your original retailer - if you moved, for example - you may bring the product to any nearest authorized K2 dealer; they will happily take care of your warranty issue for you. To find your closest K2 dealer, reference our Dealer Locator.

Product Purchased From K2Skates.com

If your product was purchased directly from k2skates.com, all warranty-related inquiries must be directed to your order fulfiller.

Our fulfillment partner will then process the warranty claim with us on your behalf.

If you send in your warranty return without contacting K2 Skates Customer Service, we will be unable to process your warranty return.

Exact product replacement depends on inventory availability.
